THE S.M.A the Beginning of something special.

Siparuta Mission Academy (SMA) is an SDA Christian secondary school located in the Amerindian village of Siparuta, Guyana, on the Suriname border. SMA opened in September, 2007 to give young people the opportunity to attend secondary school. The school operates under the umbrella of GAMAS,Guyana Adventist Medical Aviation Service, a volunteer organization led by David Gates. The school's mission is to equip students spiritually, mentally, and physically with the heart and hand service required by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in order that they may be economic, social and spiritual leaders in the global community, winning souls to His kingdom.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

VOLUNTEER's NEEDED!!

Volunteers required with the following skill set: For Mission/project documentary.

SiparutaMissionProject: located @ Siparuta mission academy in the interior.

We are looking for the following skill's

*Carpenter skills

*Agricultural skills, Gardening, green house expereience.

* Agri Teachers, to assist in Horticutural classes.

*Plumber-w/PVC Experience.. a must.

S.M.P: is looking for motivated volunteers who are creative, open-minded, and looking for new experience in a culture different from their own.

S.M.P:volunteers should be 18 years of age or older. Children can also volunteer if accompanied by an adult who is 18 years of age or older.

Our project is located in the community of Siparuta village. However, volunteers are encouraged to travel to other regions to expand their teaching opportunities, to experience rich and diverse cultures, and to enjoy the abundant wildlife of the nation.
